Tom Douglas joints we'll never see

Tom%20Douglas%2C%20Amy%20Richardson%2C%20horse.JPGPuget Sound Business Journal reported this week on its Executive of the Year, none other than restaurant entrepreneur Tom Douglas. It's said, often enough, that a ceo doesn't just decide what to do, but (almost as important) what not to do. In T-Doug's case, the restaurants he didn't open include Crab Cakes to Go, a chicken rotisserie, a barbecue joint, a Philly cheesesteak joint, and a place where everything would be steamed.

On the other hand, in addition to the restaurants he's already got going, the year ahead will bring three new spots to the Via6 complex: Home Ec, Home Brew and Home Remedy. Plus, well, with T-Doug, ya never know.
