NEW YEAR'S EVE--2014 is almost over as I type this line and will be gone for good by the time I hit "Publish." For good, better or best, actually.
Didn't make it through the year unscathed, though. New heart valve, for one thing. New book, for another, Home Grown Seattle, about the history of local food. (Previous book, Northwest Wine Country, came out almost a quarter century ago!) If you order Home Grown from Amazon, they'll print a copy just for you. Could use a couple of reader reviews on Amazon, though.
Facebook is full of links to posts and articles about the restaurants and bars that expired in 2014. And there's one more: Le Zinc. See you back down at Maximilen in Market, mes amis.
